The company behind the panels

Health Panel sells blood test panels directly to the people taking them. No insurance, no referral, and no appointment with us.

What we are about

Most blood testing starts with a physician's visit and an insurance claim. Health Panel is for the times you simply want to know your results. You pick a panel, you pay the listed price, and you give blood at a laboratory near you. A physician in our testing partner's network authorizes the order, so you do not need a referral of your own.

One price covers the whole thing: the authorization, the draw, the laboratory work and your results in your account. Nothing is added at the laboratory, and we bill no insurance. Each panel page lists exactly which markers it covers before you buy.

A panel can be bought once or on a repeat schedule. Every renewal is a full new panel and a full new draw rather than a lighter repeat test, a repeat plan runs for a minimum of 2 panels, and you cancel it yourself from your account. We take orders from every US state and the District of Columbia.

How an order works

  1. 1

    You choose a panel and check out

    Ordering happens at accounts.healthpanel.org, the signed-in part of Health Panel. Everything personal you type, and everything we later show you, lives there rather than on this marketing site.

  2. 2

    A physician authorizes the lab order

    We relay your order to our testing partner's network, where a licensed physician authorizes it. That authorization is what lets a laboratory draw and run your panel without a referral from your own physician.

  3. 3

    You go in for your draw

    We email you the lab requisition as a PDF. Take it and a photo ID to any of 5,000+ partner lab locations. Walk in whenever suits you, or book with the laboratory to avoid the queue.

  4. 4

    Your results arrive in your account

    The laboratory runs your panel and reports back to us. We put what it reported into your Health Panel account, reference ranges and flags included, and you sign in to read it.

What we do not do

  • We are not a laboratory or a clinic

    Health Panel is a marketing and ordering company. The laboratories are independent, and we do not employ or supervise the physicians in our testing partner's network.

  • We do not consult, diagnose, treat, or prescribe

    There is no visit to book with us and no medicine to buy from us. We sell a test, and the price on the panel page is the whole of what you are buying.

  • We do not interpret your results

    We show you what the laboratory reported and nothing more. We do not score your results or tell you what they mean for you. That conversation belongs with a clinician of your own.

  • We arrange nothing at the laboratory

    We issue your requisition and the rest is yours: the location is your choice, the timing is your choice, and you can change your mind about both without telling us.
