What the physician review is

A licensed physician reviews every panel before results are released. That review is a check of the results, not ongoing care, and it does not replace a relationship with your regular doctor.

What tests can and cannot tell you

Lab results are a snapshot in time and can be affected by hydration, recent meals, illness, medication, exercise, and time of day. A result inside a reference range does not rule out disease, and a result outside it does not confirm one.
