What is measured

What the panel measures, by area

Testosterone, iron status, inflammation and muscle enzymes, measured together in one draw.

The 30+ biomarkers on your report come from these tests, grouped by what each one looks at.

  • 30+biomarkers
  • 7tests
  • 6areas

Each result on the lab report counts as a biomarker, and a single test can report more than one.

  • Blood count and metabolic panel

    • Complete Blood Count
    • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel

This group counts red cells, white cells and platelets, and adds a standard set of measures for kidney and liver chemistry, blood sugar, protein and electrolyte balance.

  • Iron stores

    • Ferritin

Ferritin is the protein that stores iron, so it reflects your reserves rather than circulating iron.

  • Vitamin D

    • Vitamin D

This test measures the storage form of vitamin D, which your body makes from sunlight and absorbs from food.

  • Testosterone

    • Total Testosterone

Total testosterone is the amount of testosterone circulating in the blood, both bound and unbound.

  • Inflammation

    • hs-CRP

hs-CRP is C-reactive protein, which the liver produces in response to inflammation, measured by a high-sensitivity method.

  • Muscle enzyme

    • Creatine Kinase

Creatine kinase, or CK, is an enzyme released when muscle tissue is stressed or broken down, including by hard training.

How it works

Three steps from order to results

  1. 1

    Order online

Choose the plan or a one-time order. For the plan, you review its renewal terms at checkout.

  2. 2

    Get your draw

Your lab requisition arrives in your account. Walk in to any of 5,000+ partner lab locations, or book ahead with that lab to skip the wait.

  3. 3

    Read your results

Results are usually ready within a few business days of your draw, though some markers take longer.

Good to know

  • Physician-authorized. A physician in your testing partner's network authorizes the order, so you do not need to see your own doctor first.

  • Fasting. Fast for 8 to 10 hours before your draw where possible. Water and prescribed medication are fine.

  • At the draw. Bring photo ID. The draw itself usually takes under ten minutes from check-in.

  • Getting results. We email you as soon as they are ready, and you sign in to your account to read them.
