What is measured
What the panel measures, by area
Cortisol and DHEA-S alongside thyroid and inflammation, the hormone measures that shift under sustained stress.
The 4 biomarkers on your report come from these tests, grouped by what each one looks at.

Cortisol
- Cortisol
Your main stress hormone. It follows a daily rhythm, highest in the morning and falling through the day.
Adrenal hormone
- DHEA-S
An adrenal hormone and a precursor the body converts into other sex hormones. It declines steadily with age.
Thyroid
- TSH
Thyroid stimulating hormone, the signal the pituitary sends to the thyroid. It is the usual first number in a thyroid check.
Inflammation
- hs-CRP
C-reactive protein, measured by a high-sensitivity method able to read the low levels a standard CRP test cannot resolve. The liver produces it in response to inflammation.

Results are usually ready within a few business days of your draw, though some markers take longer.
Good to know
Physician-authorized. A physician in your testing partner's network authorizes the order, so you do not need to see your own doctor first.
Fasting. Fast for 8 to 10 hours before your draw where possible. Water and prescribed medication are fine.
At the draw. Bring photo ID. The draw itself usually takes under ten minutes from check-in.
